Here are some of our most common questions.

Q: What if our family struggles to talk about our loved one or doesn’t know what to say?
That’s completely understandable. Grief affects us all differently, and sometimes, words just don’t come easily—especially when emotions are high. That’s where I step in. With gentle guidance, I ask thoughtful questions and hold space to help uncover beautiful memories, quiet truths, and the essence of your loved one’s story. Often, having someone outside the family can make it easier to express what truly matters.

Q: Can this service be booked in advance, or only once someone has passed?
Both options are available. Many families find peace of mind in planning ahead, and it allows us to truly capture the individual’s wishes and story while they’re still here. Others choose to reach out after a loved one has passed. There’s no right or wrong—just what feels best for your circumstances.

Q: Do you work with people from all backgrounds and beliefs?
Absolutely. The Final Chapter Co. honours all walks of life, spiritual traditions, and personal beliefs. Whether your loved one held deep faith, was spiritual but not religious, or simply lived life their way—we’ll create a farewell that feels true to them.

Q: Do you travel or only work locally?
I’m based in Perth, WA, but depending on availability, I can travel or offer virtual services for writing, planning, and spiritual support. Please reach out and we’ll find the best option for your needs.

Q: How involved can I be in the process?
As involved as you’d like to be. Some families want to share everything and help shape the final tribute, while others prefer to hand it over completely. There’s no pressure either way.

Q: What if I’m the one who is dying—can I organise this myself?
Yes, you can. Many individuals take comfort in creating their own final chapter—choosing how they’d like to be remembered, and making sure nothing is left unsaid. I’ll gently support you through the process with care, confidentiality, and respect.
